As far as I am concerned this is my best film so far. It is
certainly my favourite.
Machinery: Made on April 25, 2006 using iMovie on a
twelve inch 867mHz Apple Powerbook.
Technique: The original video footage came from
Google Video.
I sorted and cut the the clips to my satisfaction. I then
looked at them for length and picked the music that I
decided was perfect. I then recut the video so that it
matched the music for length, tone and that indefinable
substance that makes the difference between something that
is shit and something that is precisely right. That said,
nothing is ever precisely right. I wish that I could get
rid of the slight jerking in some of the clips. I wish that
the Adagio from the Gayaneh ballet suite was four hours
long, and I wish that I had IMAX quality footage to cut to
it. Until all this happens, I am happy with this film. I
guess I must be, I must have watched it hundreds of
times by now and I still like it.
Then again, I am odd.
